Plastic Recycling
With the support from REACHA Foundation & Baramulla District administration, a soft Plastic Recycling Unit was establised with an aim of making best out of waste. In this waste polythene used to create useful products such as File covers, handbags, laptop sleves, carry bags etc. The profits made by the sale of these products is distributed among the girls involved in this SHG. Centre has provided these girls a platform to be independent and support their families financially.
Customized Printing
Printing with the help of Kojo Coding on material like T-Shirts, Bottles and Mugs has unlocked new potential to students of the centre. The Kojo coding trained students provided with training on printing over 3D objects. After collecting orders, the selected images as per customer's choice printed on the T-shirts or Mugs. Eventually, they have begun to generate income in best possible way under the guidance & support of faculty. Besides earning, they also learnt new tech & innovative ways which helped them in shaping their career.
Food Processing
The Food Processing Unit was established in 2020. It offers a plethora of local products that are in high demand worldwide. Their array of artisanal products, including apple jam, apple juice, ginger tonic, pickle, and tomato puree, embodies authenticity and craftsmanship. Each product is meticulously crafted, reflecting the region's rich agricultural heritage. The products crafted by these youth are utilized by the locals, thus establishing a supply chain across Baramulla, Kashmir. This SHG stands as a beacon of excellence within the community.
