Our Story

Chinar YUVA, a group of passionate individuals coming together with a shared vision of creating positive change in their community. This diverse group consisted of teachers, social workers, business owners, and local residents who were deeply committed to improve the quality of life for everyone. Recognizing the need for a centralized hub that could address various community needs, they brainstormed and conceptualized the idea of Chinar YUVA. The center would serve as a multifunctional space where residents could access educational resources, social services, and recreational activities. With a location secured, the team set to work transforming the vacant building into a vibrant and welcoming space. Local volunteers contributed their time and skills to paint the walls, install new flooring, and create different zones within the center to accommodate various activities. Assisted by Indian Army and ONGC, Chinar YUVA became a symbol of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision and dedication to positive change. It served as an inspiration for other towns facing similar challenges, sparking a movement of grassroots community development initiatives across the region. And so, the story of the Chinar YUVA became a testament to the transformative power of collective action, proving that a small group of committed individuals can indeed make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of many.

Our Vision

Today, Chinar YUVA stands tall and is a symbol of inspiration for all the people in the valley. It is helping youth to achieve greater heights in their life. Chinar YUVA Baramulla was envisioned to engage the youth on to the correct track. The target was the youth from lower middle class families who were involved in anti social activities for money. For suitably engaging them it was felt that skill based trg be provided to them, so that they could be employed gainfully. This aim could be achieved by having a centre/club where skill oriented trg is imparted to the youth. The reqmt of funds was large, which could not be met only through "OP Sadhbhavana ". Therefore, the possibility of funding through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of corporate giants was explored.
